Your data, explained clearly.
Effective 1 September 2026
Mitrio uses the information needed to create your account, recommend people, support conversations and keep the community safer. We do not display your phone number or exact location on your public profile.
Information we collect
- Account information such as your verified mobile number, private account name, date of birth for adult-eligibility checks and encrypted password record.
- Profile information you choose to publish, including your name, age, city, area, photos, interests and relationship goal.
- Activity needed to operate the service, including likes, matches, messages, reports, blocks, device sessions and invitation status.
- Technical and security records such as login times, approximate network information and operational logs.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, show relevant profiles, create matches only after mutual interest, deliver messages, prevent abuse, investigate reports, provide support and improve reliability.
Who can see what
Other signed-in members may see the profile information you publish. Your phone number, password data, private account name and exact network details are not shown on your dating profile. A person you block is removed from your discovery and conversations.
Storage and retention
Profile photos and chat photos are stored as separate media files. Account records are kept while your account is active and as reasonably needed for safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling and legal obligations. Deleting your account removes it from normal service use.
Your choices
- Edit your profile and notification preferences inside the app.
- Pause Discovery without deleting your account.
- Block or report another member.
- Delete your account from Settings → Account & data, or from the web account-deletion page if you no longer have the app.
