Meet with confidence, not pressure.
Updated 12 September 2026
Mitrio is for adults 18+ only. You can stop a conversation, block a member or report something at any time. Mitrio never asks you to send money or share a one-time verification code.
Child safety standards
Mitrio prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We also prohibit grooming, sexualisation of minors, sextortion, trafficking, solicitation of sexual content involving minors, and attempts to use the service to facilitate abuse or exploitation of a child.
- Accounts operated by people under 18 are not permitted on Mitrio. Registration includes an adult-age gate, and the Android distribution is designated for adults 18+ only.
- Members can report profiles or conversations from inside the app. Relevant conversation evidence may be preserved for safety review even when a member blocks another account.
- Content or conduct involving suspected child exploitation is escalated for urgent safety review and handled in accordance with applicable law and lawful reporting obligations.
- Our child-safety contact is safety@mitrio.cc.
Before meeting
- Keep early conversations in the app while you get to know the person.
- Never share passwords, OTP codes, bank details or intimate material under pressure.
- Be cautious when someone quickly asks for money, investment, travel payment or an emergency transfer.
- Tell a trusted person where you are going and arrange your own transport.
Meeting in person
- Choose a populated public place and avoid private homes for a first meeting.
- Keep your phone charged and your drinks and belongings with you.
- Consent must be clear, voluntary and ongoing. You can leave at any time.
- If you feel unsafe, move to a staffed area and contact local emergency services.
Report and block
Open a profile or conversation menu to report or block. Blocking removes the person from your Discovery and conversation views. Reports are reviewed by the operations team and may include a limited snapshot of relevant recent messages so a safety report is not accidentally destroyed by blocking.
Immediate danger
Mitrio is not an emergency service. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. For product or child-safety support, email safety@mitrio.cc.
